Reminds me of this one post online about how there was an orc whose name was Brick. Orc culture in that setting was to be named after what they could break. Brick was a therapist, and one day wished his name to be Depression.
Oh my god yes I think that was like a r/dndmemes Post and like Worldbuilding wise it was Established that an Orcs Name is determined by the toughest thing they could break with their bare hands, and as Brick was a Therapist, he “wanted to do therapy so good to one day change his name to Depression” I think was the exact wording
Dream is the perfect male character bc he’s clearly dying from consumption at all times, he cries when someone calls him a friend, he commits acts of hubris he will not survive, his only friends are his bird and his big sister, his biggest opponents are his siblings who hate him for no reason and an insane gay serial killer HE created

Someone on the Sandman subreddit said there are stars on the lining of Dream’s coat so I had to see for myself. This is from Episode 2, "Imperfect Hosts":

Someone else on the thread pointed out the stars are not exactly moving in tandem with the coat's fabric. It means those are not just star prints; there are actual starry skies within Dream's coat! That is so beautiful and romantic. The amount of details in this show is incredible.
